I never met Mike but I know his sister Maureen and her love and care she has given to her family these last few years has been above and beyond what any one person should have to endure but her strength and courage is absolutely amazing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and may you find peace and comfort in the memories you have.

I had the pleasure of serving with Mike in the Marines many years ago and will be forever thankful and blessed to have had that opportunity and all the memories to carry forward. In our days as Marines, at any point when one of warriors was called home by God, we often stated that "another Marine has stood his final watch and is now relieved of all duties'. And Mike has stood his last watch!
Mike was an incredible source of strength and I would offer that as martin Luther King has been quoted...."The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands at times of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy". As a man of faith, Mike always stood for right, was steadfast and had wonderful broad and strong shoulders.
Until we meet again Mike, May God Hold You in the Palm of His Hand.
May God also Bless Mike's family with strength, comfort and understanding today and all the days ahead!
