

Agnes E. Richardson died Dec. 30, 2010 at the age of 87. Agnes was raised on Crego Hill and graduated from Adna High School, Adna, WA. She married Dale Richardson in 1941 and moved to Chehalis. She was a lifetime Lewis County resident and lived on Jackson Highway for the past 60 years.
Agnes was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family. Her kindness and caring were experienced by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed cooking and especially liked having family and friends stop by for a visit and breakfast, French Toast being her specialty.
Her interests included gardening, playing bingo, and casino visits. Wherever she went her sister Dort (Dorothy) was with her until Dort's death in 2006. They both worked at the Chehalis Eagles for years. She was a fifty plus year member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Agnes is survived by her sister Margaret Stearns of Vancouver, WA; sons Fred (Bonnie), Pete (Kay) and Mike of Chehalis; and daughter Loretta (John) Anderson of Adna. Grandchildren Brian (Amy) Richardson of Montana, Brenda "Sissy" Richardson of New Mexico, Dale Richardson of Olympia, Heidi (Gustsavo) Richardson - Topete of Auburn, Lisa Wilson of Adna, Corinna Churchill (Mike) of Centralia, Penny Coker (Chris) of Olympia, Angel Tereski (Darren) of Adna; Eric, Patrick and Wayne Richardson of Adna. Eleven great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dale, son Tom, sister Dorothy Mindus and brother Ben Schwarz. A special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of Providence Hospital for all the good care she received the last few weeks.
The funeral services for Agnes Richardson are scheduled for 11:00 am on Sat., Jan. 8, 2011 at Sticklin Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dave Brown officiating. Private internment will be at the Claquato Cemetery.
