

Arlis Adele (Wolfe) Jamerson, 82, of Centralia, passed away at home on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013. Arlis was born on Feb. 16, 1930, in New Leipzig, N.D., to Daniel and Alice (Espeland) Wolfe. Arlis and her sister, Dianne, grew up living in Pierce County. Arlis attended Puyallup Schools from the first grade up to the eleventh grade, she then attended and graduated from the twelfth grade at Buckley High School. Afterwards, Arlis completed the Knapp School of Business in Tacoma, Wash. On Oct. 8, 1948, she married Larry Jamerson, together they lovingly reared two children, Linda and Nancy.
Arlis was an intelligent woman. She worked for a short time at Madigan Hospital on Joint Base Lewis McCord, Arlis then moved on to work at Boeing as a Secretary to high ranking Engineers, where she was approved for Top Secret security clearance. Arlis worked specifically on Top Secret projects from 1958 to 1968. Arlis was also a licensed Real Estate Agent, a Chicken Raiser, raising up to 80,000 chickens for Fryers and Accountant/Bookkeeper for the many small businesses she ran with her husband; plumbing and electric, pre-owned auto sales and residential construction, just to name a few.
Arlis was a member of the Napavine Assembly of God. She and her husband, established Faith
Outreach USA and The World, which they also ran for many years. Arlis’ true calling was participating in and supporting missionary work around the world. Arlis and her husband traveled to fifty-four countries and most every state in the USA, visiting a total of five continents.
Arlis is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Larry Jamerson, daughters, Linda (Ken) Riveness of Chehalis, Wash., and Nancy (Steve) Doughty of Cheney, grandchildren, Amy (Kurston) Ross of Brooks, Ore., Andrew (Brenda) Pompeo of Des Moines, Wash., John (Reby) Helland, Tacoma, Kenny Riveness, Jr. of Chehalis, Sarah (Cheyne) Keevy of Spokane Valley and Scott (Sarah) Doughty of Spokane, great-grandchildren, Rachel Ross, Isabella and Liliana Pompeo, Issac, Andrew, Levi, Samuel, and Anna Grace Keevy, and sister, Dianne Bindara of Puyallup, Wash. Arlis was preceded in death by her parents.
Arlis deeply loved her Lord and her family. She can be pictured saying, “Don’t weep for me. I am Home now and waiting for you.”
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Sticklin Funeral Chapel, 1437 S. Gold St., Centralia, WA 98531 followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Grand Mound Cemetery, 6300 183rd Ave SW, Rochester, WA 98579 and concluding with a celebration of her life at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Napavine Assembly of God, 411 2nd St, Napavine, WA 98565.
