Charles "Pete" Lester Peterson

Charles 'Pete' L. Peterson went home to Jesus on July 28, 2025. He was born in North Dakota on October 16, 1961 & raised in Washington. His favorite job over the years was with Sorenson Transport in Chehalis. He loved the company & the people he worked for and with. He worked twenty-three years for Sorenson's & received several awards.

He met and married Dorothy Fasano in May 2000. It broke his heart when she passed away in November 2024.

Pete was a people-person & problem solver. He was always there to help others & he took good care of us. Family game night was important to him. His competitive  spirit took over when it came to cards and dice. He was very funny.

He leaves behind his siblings: David, Debbie, Michelle (Rick), Chris (Tina), & Sandy (Marcus); other close family Renee & Lydia & children Desarae and Chuck. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; parents Allen Peterson & Margaret Davis.

We have struggled with his sudden passing but are so thankful for the years we had. Pete will be dearly missed by so many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd at 11am at Claquato Cemetery in Chehalis. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the charity of your choice.
