He was born Jan. 28, 1928, in Rush Springs, Okla., to Robert Lee and Hazel Jewel (Morgan) Crow.
Claude moved to Mossyrock, Wash., in 1965, to work on the Mossyrock Dam. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Operating Engineer’s Union for 55 years. He also worked for Peter Kiewitt doing road construction.
Claude enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and going on walks. He was also known to lend a helping hand to his neighbors by mowing their lawns and doing various chores.
Claude was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel; his father, Robert; and a sister, Ola.
Claude is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Norma; his children, Dennis (Janice) Crow, Debbie (Andy) Greisen, Brenda (Monte) Clouston, Ron (Becky) Crow and Tom (Casey) Crow; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Claude is also survived by his siblings, Loyd, Everett, Mildred and Clyde, all of whom reside in Moses Lake, Wash.
Interment took place at Doss Cemetery in Mossyrock at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018. The family will be having a private celebration of life at a later date. Claude’s family would like to especially thank Assured Hospice of Centralia for their kind and loving care.
