Darrell Wayne Greenwood

Darrell took his first breath on June 1, 1950. He was born to Ernest Greenwood and Claire Dahl of Chehalis, Washington. Darrell was a caring brother to his two brothers Daniel and David; and his three step siblings Michael, Berneta, and Kathleen. He graduated from Adna High School of Adna, Washington in 1968 and went on to attend Centralia College in Centralia, Washington.

Darrell enjoyed a 43-year-long career with Weyerhaeuser. Darrell was an avid outdoorsman, and when he was not working, he loved to spend his time fishing. He was also a dedicated family man who adored his daughter Chantell Lynn Greenwood. Friends as well as family valued Darrell, and he loved to catch up with people over a beer. He was a dependable and honest man who will be dearly missed.

Darrell was preceded in death by his father Ernest Greenwood and his mother Claire Dahl.

Darrell is survived by his brothers Daniel Greenwood and David Greenwood; his stepsiblings Michael, Berneta, and Kathleen; his former wife Vikki; his former wife Marjorie; his former wife Carol; and his daughter Chantell Lynn Greenwood.

The family would like to thank Darrell’s dear friend "Philipino" Phil and Darrell’s stepsister Berneta for all of their care and support. A celebration of life for Darrell will be held on Saturday October 21, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Tower Tavern, 114 S Tower Ave, Centralia, WA 98531.
