Dennis Richard Spalding

Dennis was born on October 17, 1953, in Seattle, WA, the son of Richard and Mildred McKusick- Spalding. He attended Kitsap High School. While in Minnesota, he met the love of his life, Roberta ‘Becky’ Lee Wilson, and the two married on March 15, 1975, in Minneapolis.

He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, mushrooming, building and flying RC planes, and flying gliders and small aircraft. Dennis began his career in the Cedar Timber Industry in 1978, and enjoyed many years in the woods enjoying nature.

Dennis was preceeded in death by his parents; and a son, Paul Michael Brandt.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Becky; daughters, Brenda (Edward) Brooks, Shelley(Adam) Myers, and Sunday (Kim) Steward; 14 grandchildren, Emyli, Stephannie, Lexie, and Rylie, Zoe, Britt, Gunner, Tanner, Tell, Ember, Dakota, Alexa, Levi, and Heather; 7 great- grandchildren, Keagan, Kali, Asher, Brynja, Aiden, Varrick, and Gracie; and a sister, Elaine Spalding.

A Celebration of Dennis’ Life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 10, at the Doty Fire Hall. All are welcome to come and remember this special man.
