

Eleanor Ann Ethridge, 81, of Chehalis, Wash., Passed away October 21, 2017, at Providence Centralia Hospital. She was born in Keewatin, Minn., to Eric and Monica Tappe, December 7, 1935. After high school, Eleanor enrolled in beauty school, then later continued education and became a licensed CNA. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chehalis, where she taught Sunday school. She was a past president of the Emblem Club and also a member of the Daughters of the Lewis County Pioneers. She met Robert “Bobby Jack” in 1962, and they were married in Seattle. They were married for 34 years.
She was preceded in death, by her husband, Robert, parents, Eric and Monica, her four brothers, Vincent, Ambrose, Clifford and Dewayne, four sisters, Veronica, Avenil, Vivian and Sharon.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Tina M. Ethridge and Denise May Hopkins, sisters Monica Buzzelli, Lois Lindquist, Shirley Poirer, brother, Rodney Tappe, grandson, Nickalaus and his wife, Amy Parodi, great-grandchildren, Gina, Olari and Marcus.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday November 18th , at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2195 Jackson Highway, Chehalis, WA. Donations can be made to the Centralia Lions Club Vision Program, in care of, Innovations In Eye Care, 1125 Mellon St, Centralia, Wash.
