Elmer Wilson Springer, 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, in Centralia, Wash. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 27, 1933 to Guy and Leota (Jones) Springer. Everyone called him “Sonny”.
Sonny married Ruth Kinnick on January 3, 1976, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He served in the Army and was a trucking supervisor for Kenworth.
He loved being outdoors; he would spend time fishing and building birdhouses.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.
Sonny is survived by his wife Ruth Springer; children, Dan and David Springer, Chuck (Angie) Stevens, Penny Moss, Chris (Rob) Walker, Patti (Jim) Nicklin; Ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday March 20, 2020 at 1PM, at Sticklin Funeral Chapel, Centralia, Wash.
