Goldie Jean (King) Butler

Goldie Jean (King) Butler, age 81, of Centralia, Washington passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Born May 18, 1940 in Centralia to Mary Goldie Hemenway and James William King. Goldie lived in many parts of the U.S and Germany while growing up and while married before settling back in Centralia in 1975.

She enjoyed garage saling and camping with family and friends. While in Missouri, her pass times included drag racing and later watching her sons race horses. In her later years she enjoyed having dinner and spending time with family, especially her great grandchildren, She also enjoyed catching up on Facebook when not playing slotmania.

Goldie is survived by her sons John, James and David Butler of Centralia, Washington; her daughter-in-law Debbie Butler; her sisters Gladys Pyne-Cone, Rose Jackson and Margaret Fitch; her grandchildren Stephen Butler, John Butler Jr, Kolbi Butler, Tyler, Travis, Sydnee, Quinsee, Cassandra and Justine; her great grandchildren Michael, Natalie, Benton, Paxton, Kamrynn, Roczen, Ellie, Rylan, Colton, Cannon and Jaxon.

Goldie is preceded in death by her spouse Benton Allen Butler (Benny); her father James William King and her mother Mary Goldie Hemenway; her sisters Mary Lou Parker and Ruth Bacon.

Goldie was laid to rest beside her husband at Greenwood Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers are John Butler, Jim Butler, David Butler, Stephen Butler, John Butler Jr and Michael Bacon.
