Jack Dempsey Wilson Sr., 96, of Chehalis, Washington, passed away at Providence Centralia Hospital on Friday May 1, 2020. Jack was born April 23, 1924 in Velma, Oklahoma to James and Myrtle (McClanahan) Wilson.
Jack was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps after serving in Hawaii during World War II. He was on the USS West Virginia on December 7, 1941, when the Japanese sank it during the attack on Pearl Harbor. After serving his time in the military, Jack worked at Halliburton Services for 32 years, where he worked in many oversea locations eventually retiring.
Jack is survived by four children, Jack (Dianna) Wilson of LaMirada, California, Lena (Edward Fisher) Davis-Fisher of Chehalis, Washington, Rodger (Sandee) Wilson of Coolidge, Arizona, and Marilyn Fiorini of Rio Vista, California, 9 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
