Jean Kathleen Weston

Jean Kathleen Weston, 86, passed away on July 12, 2011 at Oakwood Haven Family Home in Centralia, WA. Jean was born on May 21, 1925 to Albert and Elizabeth (Kingston) Hillman in Bristol, England. Jean attended school and also met her husband, Raymond Weston, in England. Jean and Ray were wed on December 30, 1944.

Jean came to the U.S. in 1946 to Idaho and lived there until 1948, moving then to Centralia until 1954 when she settled in Chehalis.WA. Jean belonged to the Rebekah Lodge #173 in Napavine, WA. She enjoyed knitting and writing letters.

Preceding Jean in death were her parents, her husband, her daughters: Phyllis Gillaspie and Bonnie Scott, her sister, Dorothy Huckman, her brother, Albert Hillman, her grandchildren: Rob & Wendy Giddings and her great grandchild , Andrew Lowell.

Surviving Jean is her sister, Norah Thomas, Bristol, England, her brother, Kenneth Hillman, Bristol, England, her daughters; Marilyn Giddings, Chehalis, Linda-Rae Lowery, Napavine, and June McGeary, Chehalis, her adopted son, Stacey Weston, Chehalis, 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Memorial Donations in Jean’s name can be made to Children’s Orthopedic.

Visitation will be 12-5pm on Tues. July 19, 2011 at Sticklin Funeral Chapel, Centralia. A Funeral will be held 11:00a.m.on Wed. July 20, 2011 at Sticklin Funeral Chapel. Graveside committal will follow at Claquato Cemetery, Chehalis, WA.
