Jesse attended Tumwater High School. After high school, he had a wonderful, twenty-year career working for Farelli’s Pizza. Jesse loved stepping up to the challenge of helping out when new restaurants opened and a seasoned Kitchen Manager/Master Pizza Artisan was needed to have a successful grand opening. He loved thinking of new and exciting recipes for his Farelli's patrons to enjoy his culinary creativity. Jesse also made the best lasagna, and we were blessed enough to savor some of his most favorite creations.
Jesse’s other interests included caring for his four-legged best friend, Jax; boating with his best friend/brother, Mike Rutledge (and family) at Alder Lake; and watching wrestling sports. He truly enjoyed teasing his sisters from time to time, and didn’t like it when we’d get him back for his silly pranks!
However, there wasn’t anyone or anything Jesse loved more in his life - than raising, adoring, and being the best daddy to his pride and joy, Aubrey Marie Martinez. He lived for Aubrey, and strived to ensure he could raise the best human he could offer the world. We are truly blessed to have a piece of Jesse still with us in his daughter. Thank you for Aubrey….we got it from here, bro.
Jesse is survived by his parents Jesus Martinez Jr. and Maria R. Martinez; his daughter Aubrey Marie Martinez; his sisters Ann Marie Martinez; Priscilla Martinez-Mejia (Jesus); Mary Helen Martinez-Shortt (David); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and best friends.
A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held at the Point Ruston Farelli's on Saturday, May 25, 2024, 12:00 – 4:00 PM. Please come dressed in your best and make sure your shoes are on point, as Jesse will be judging from above. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Sticklin Funeral Chapel, in Centralia, WA.
