Joyce was a friend whom I learned to trust unconditionally.   One year, a giant tree blew down just missing her house.  We talked, and it was decided to cut the tree into sections.  As I cut the end closest to the root, the darn root ball slammed down just missing me by inches.  We laughed and ate some of her cookies and coffee she made lol

The good Lord has a way of changing our path in life. Joyce was my friend who would listen to me for hours, get up, and hug me when I needed a hug. Over the years, Joyce's words helped me find peace, not to forget, but to move on.
Hearing Joyce's voice would calm my anxiety, knowing she cared. 

I regret not making time to spend more time with Joyce over the years, knowing I might not be writing this if it weren't for Joyce.
Joyce, thank you. I know I can't turn back the pages of time to say I'm sorry

Howard and Joyce were by far the kindest neighbors I ever had.   I was digging holes for a 4x4 post, and Howard told me not to mix the cement, just put it in the hole dry.. I waited until I thought he was asleep to mix the cement when Howard came out.  I listened to his advice lol
Joyce was my savior in many ways.  When my mother came out to visit with cancer, she made her hats and helped her eat and would read to her something my mother enjoyed.   Joyce show mom compassion and kindness

Joyce was always making blankets for baby and kids

We would have Nieghbor garage sales because Joyce had the perfect place

Before we would go out we would take pictures with Joyce, the kids loved seeing joyce

Joyce would always bring love and smiles when she would visit.

I have known Grandma Joyce since I was in 5th grade! I had not seen her in a few years and I ran into her at Costco in Smokey Point. She said I looked the same! I love her sweet southern accent and warm smile! I was always happy to see her!
