

Chehalis Tribal member Joyleen Rae McCrory, age 64, passed away at her residence in Grays Harbor County in Oakville, WA on June 29, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Joyleen was born in Centralia, WA on November 16, 1956 to Dale Klatush Sr. and Vivian Rosiland Young of Oakville, WA.
Joyleen attended Chemawa Indian School in Oregon. She has taken many College Courses to further her education in the different fields she had worked.
Joyleen has worked different fields within her tribe such as Family services as a manager, Elders, Coordinator, Heritage and Culture manager. She had also served on the Business Committee as well as numerous sub-committees. Joyleen had a voice to be heard and a laugh you couldn't miss.
Joyleen was survived by her husband, Vernon McCrory Sr; her brothers, Leonard (Renny) Young Dale Klatush Jr., Bruce Klatush Sr., Joe Sanders and Mike Sanders; Sisters, Karen Klatush, Bev Starr, Marcy, Jean, and Geraldine Sanders; children, Kevin Albert Jr., Eli Snell, Jason McCrory, David McCrory, Vernon McCrory Jr., Vince McCrory, and Tahnee McCloud; her grandchildren, Jordan Hutchinson, Alyssa Albert, Payton Albert, Cameron Snell, Adrian Snell, Eli Snell, Noah Snell, Dante McGee, Zoe Albert and Jaylynn Albert; 24 additional grandchildren; 1 great grand child, Avery Lockett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by both her parents. Her son Jason M. Albert, Sonja J. Snell. Her sister Colleen M. Klatush, her brother Larry Sasticum.
Joyleen's hobbies were playing pool, crafting, casino gambling, listening to music, and watching her shows.
Joyleen spent her life helping people whenever she could. She was a foster parent who had taken numerous children into her home.
Services will be held at the Chehalis Tribal Community Center followed by a burial at Secena Cemetery in Oakville, WA.
