Jude Guyer, 77, of Chehalis, Washington, went home to be with the Jesus on September 3, 2025, after courageously fighting a 10-year battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born on October 31, 1947, in Walla Walla, WA, to Robert and Ruby Muzzy, and grew up with her siblings Syd, Bob, and Donna. She graduated from Shadle Park High School in Spokane in 1966 and began her career as a bank teller, where she developed her strong work ethic and people skills.In 1968, Jude met the love of her life, Tom Guyer, and they were married on October 11, 1969, in Port Angeles, WA and would have been celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary. Together they raised three children: Kim, Jon, and Randy. Jude later worked alongside Tom in their family business, TJ Guyer, Inc., and also gave of her time mentoring students through FBLA, encouraging them to achieve their goals. Jude had a spirit of joy and adventure. She loved boating on Puget Sound, always hoping to catch sight of a whale. She delighted in walking, especially during her many trips through the San Juan Islands, and shared her creativity through crafts she made and gave as gifts.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruby Muzzy, stepmother Marie Muzzy, brother Bob Muzzy, and sister Donna Glanville. She is survived by her husband Tom; brother Syd (Karen) children Kim Witham (Mark), Jon Guyer, and Randy Guyer (Andrea); grandchildren Emilee Macomber (Seth), Ryan
Witham, Jon Paul Guyer (Katie), Macie Magnuson (Wyatt), Taylor Kamenzind (Cory), and Caden Guyer; and great-grandchildren Mallory Guyer, Maeve Magnuson, Raelynn Preston-Oliver, and Brooklyn Kamenzind. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to South Sound Family Adult Home, Al, and Thelma, for their loving care. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Grace Church in Chehalis, WA, with a light reception to follow.
