Kallie Marion James

Kallie had an empathetic heart. In high school she reached out to the kids who didn't have anybody or were left out. She and her brother Harrison were homeschooled until high school and were very close. She loved her brother very much.

Kallie's best friends, you know who you are, were very valuable to her. She loved doing things, planning things, and making memories with her besties. Especially all the selfies!

Kallie always had a heart for animals. She passionately cared for and loved all her cats, and recently Alice and Evee. She loved feeding birds and squirrels. She called every squirrel, Squirrely. Starting at a young age, Kallie loved frogs. She wanted to hunt frogs every day in the Spring. Our neighborhood dubbed her the Frog Queen.

Kallie loved the beach and specifically Cannon Beach. She loved the tide pools and the animals in them, and never shied away from the freezing PNW water!

In 2024, Kallie and her mom went on an Alaskan cruise. Mom would have never gone on a cruise with her; Kallie was her cheerleader for fun stuff. Kallie went down the longest zipline in the world at Icy Strait Point AK.

Kallie loved trains and train sounds, always dreaming of going on a train ride. She enjoyed going to the Elbe train restaurant, swinging on the swings there. She loved rope swings and thrill rides and was hoping to plan to bungee jump soon. The Puyallup Fair was one of her favorite things to go and do. A whole day of rides! Even though she loved thrill rides, she always loved the carousel.

Black Friday shopping with her mom was a highlight in her calendar, having done it for most of the last 15 years. Kallie was our holiday girl! Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Halloween. She decorated her house lavishly for every holiday and got gifts for friends and family. Her love language was gift giving. She knew how to make us all feel loved. She sought out neighborhood Christmas lights and got all of the enjoyment out of the month between Thanksgiving and Christmas that she could. Then on Christmas Day, there were many gifts for all of her friends and family. It was hard to keep up with her.

Starting at 10 years old, Kallie was the first one in line at Maris Farms in Buckley for the haunted woods. She didn't want to hear anybody else screaming and giving away all the frights!

Kallie was very organized and orderly- she was a planner. She built strong relationships with her housekeeping clients, who loved her and gave her lavish gifts of appreciation at the holidays. Kallie was a regular at many smaller stores in Centralia. She left an impression on people with her kindness, friendliness, and beautiful smile. She worked at Claire's in the outlet store for a few years and knew what it was like to be a clerk. She was always kind to customer service agents on the phone. She knew that life could be hard for everyone.

She loved coin operated arcades and especially playing alley ball. That's where she met the love of her life, Dillon Bolen. Kallie was baptized July 9, 2026 in the Chehalis River.

Viewing will be held at Sticklin-Brown Funeral Chapel, 1437 S. Gold Street, on Saturday, August 15th at 10am, followed by a Celebration of Life starting at 12pm. Graveside will be held following at Mountain View Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to gather Midway RV Park, 3200 Galvin Rd., following the committal for a reception.

We will miss her terribly, but we have the hope of seeing her again for which we are forever grateful. Sweet daughter, hug your great-grandparents, your grandfathers, and Uncle Bob for us. I'm sure they are so happy to see you.
