Mary Ellen Albright, 85, went home to the Lord Wednesday, April 3, 2019, following a brave battle with a brief illness. She was born in Otis, Col., on August 30, 1933, to Frank C. and Alice Ellen (Harris) Davis. She married her first sweetheart, Evern Edward Albright in Chehalis, Wash., on August 21, 1954. Mary was a long time member of Centralia Community Church of God, volunteered at the Twin City Senior Center’s Pancake Breakfasts, and went on several missionary trips to Bolivia and Mexico. Mary was a Jill of All Trades; over the years she was a CAT driver, truck driver, and school bus driver. She owned her own restaurant, worked as a bookkeeper and tax preparer, was a caretaker for the elderly, a landlord, a farmer, worked in home construction and in a cannery, and made wreaths for Sherwood Farms during the holiday season. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Evern in 2003; and a son, Kevin Albright, in 1958. She is lovingly remembered by her longtime companion, Ron Knoll; children, Randy Albright, Russ Albright, Carla Morgan, and Lisa McMillan; grandchildren, Vonshay, Taylene, Adam, Nicole, Jamee, Rachel, Melanie, and Barret; great grandchildren, Tati, Sam, and David; siblings, Naomi Dow, Clarence Davis, and Shirley Houston, and many other family members and friends.
