Jim Moss was born on June 7th, 1940 in American Falls, Idaho. He passed away peacefully on June 19th, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Jim affected the lives of countless people throughout his 77 years on this earth, and his memory and legacy will live on in those he touched.
Jim is preceded in death by his mother, Myra; father, Reub; son, Kellen; sister, Joan; and brother, Ray.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dana Lillethun Moss; sons, Wade and Travis; daughters, Dawnie, Charlotte Foust and Andrea Stone; brothers, Howard, Carl, Dennis and Kevin; sisters, Afton, Elaine, Marilyn and Marge; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
With Jim’s passing, the SE Alaska fish population gets a much-needed reprieve, but the tales of adventure will live on forever.
Services will be held on Saturday July 1st, 2017, at 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2195 Jackson Hwy, Chehalis, WA. A reception will follow the service at the same location. Jim will be laid to rest at Pleasant View Cemetery in St. Ignatius, Montana on Saturday July 8th, 2017, at 1:00 PM.
