Raymond "Ray" Pierrepont, 90, of Chehalis, Washington, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026. He was born on April 12, 1936, in Los Angeles, California, to Raymond Henry Pierrepont Sr. and Mildred Faye Franke.
Ray spent his youth in Oregon and graduated from Grants Pass High School in Grants Pass, Oregon, with the Class of 1954. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Corporal. His time in the Marines instilled in him a lifelong sense of discipline, dedication, and pride in serving others.
After his military service, Ray built a successful career at FarWest Homes in Chehalis, Washington, where he worked in purchasing and shipping. Known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail, he earned the respect and friendship of many coworkers throughout the years.
On October 9, 2010, Ray married the love of his life, Francesca Pierrepont. Together they shared many happy years filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Ray had a passion for classic automobiles and could often be found working on his custom car or attending rod runs and car shows. He also enjoyed bowling and treasured the friendships he made through his hobbies. Whether tinkering in the garage, admiring beautifully restored vehicles, or spending time with those he loved, Ray embraced life with enthusiasm and an easygoing spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Henry Pierrepont Sr. and Mildred Faye Franke.
Ray is survived by his devoted wife, Francesca Pierrepont; all of his beloved children; his sister, Mildred Lindquist; and his brother, Charles Williamson, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
Ray will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering work ethic, love of family, and passion for the hobbies that brought him so much joy. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories shared with those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
