

Ronald Glen Burton , age 73 passed away at Providence Hospital in Centralia WA on July 18th 2021. Ronald was born May 1, 1948 to Glen and Jean (Wulz) Burton of Chehalis WA. He lived his entire life on the family dairy farm located south of Chehalis.
Ronald graduated from W. F. West High School Chehalis WA in 1967. He was active in 4-H and FFA clubs showing his Brown Swiss dairy cattle at the local fairs. He loved operating the farm equipment and doing custom field work.
Ronald is survived by his brother Gene Matthiesen (Wilma); two nieces Kim Hagara (John) and Jill Lambert (Ron); six great nephews and nieces Jake Lambert, John Hagara, Raymond Lambert, Katie Hagara, Veronica Wike and Cody Lambert with 11 great great nephew and nieces.
Ronald was proceeded in death by his parents Glen and Jean Burton and his nephew Jeff Matthiesen and Jeff’s wife Micky.
Ronald served as a volunteer Fireman for Lewis County Fire District 5 for 29 years. After Ronald quit milking cows he worked for Bill Thompson Hydraulics, Chehalis WA for 24 years. He was also involved and volunteered with the Chehalis Steam Train Association.
Ronald was a quiet and gentle giant and will be missed by his family and friends. He will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery in Centralia, Washington.
