I loved spending time with Aunt Rovie! We loved going to the casino gambling! I will never forget how she always called me "Cynders"! 

One time when she came to Montesano to visit, we lived in Val Vista, she taught me how to make the best fried chicken! To this day a lot of my family members request that I make it when we are together. When I mentioned it to her not long ago, she had forgotten that she taught me. 

I will ALWAYS cherish the time I spent with her, she always made me feel very special! Sherry, she loved you & Randy very much and was so very proud of you! 

Thanks for sharing your mom with me!! She will be greatly missed!!

“Billet Grandma” Rose was a big reason my 3 years living in Washington were so enjoyable. For Colin and I, it was always a treat to have her in town babysitting for Sherry and Dennis. My fondest memory was being put in the “penalty box” for not being back to eat dinner on time. Will always think of laughter and fun when remembering Billet Grandma.  You will be missed, love your billet grandson Brenden. 

“Billet Grandma “ is what we called Reed. Billet Grandma was an amazing woman that always had fun with Brenden and I. Constant joking and laughter is how I’ll always remember you . We’ll miss you tons. Love Colin your billet grandson! 

One of the best memories I have of my Aunt Rosalie is that she had nicknames for all of my siblings. We called her Aunt “Whoa wee”. 
I remember going to visit, playing with Sherry and my sister, Cindy. 
Going to Grants Pass, Oregon with my entire family to visit. The farthest I had ever traveled in a car!
Aunt Rosalie was a great cook. She fixed the best tasting fried  oysters. They were beyond delicious. 
I will miss seeing her smile and hearing her laugh.

Dear Grandma Rose, 

As you know, our story began when I was the unripen age of 15. My Dad and Sherry had just been married and we had never met before. In most cases, this surely could have been a recipe for disaster. Think about it, a 15 year old boy, a freshman in high school with a know-it-all attitude meeting the mother of a new step mom for the first time.  Well, let’s just say thankfully you showed up in, what I would come to know very well, true Rosalie Reed fashion. You were a wonderful mix of no nonsense, playful, giving, and feisty all at once. Add to that the gift of gab and a genuine interest in making me your grandson as soon as possible, I had no choice to love you from the very beginning. I will miss your story telling, our trips to see the guys play hockey, and our rare but fun gambling indulgence. I will miss your dry sense of humor and most of all, I will miss my partner in crime. You have made a lasting impact on my life and, for that, I am eternally grateful. Love you, Jason!


I think in all the years I knew Rosalie I only called her Rose one time, it was always "Sherrys mom". All through high school Sherry & I gave her alot of grief but she just put up with us, that's what mom's do. 
She always had a smile and always made sure you knew she was glad to see you (even when she was yelling at us.)
I still have the ironing board she gave me in high school and I still think of her every time I use it.

She really loved her daughter Sherry and son in law Dennis. She got such a kick out of babysitting Jasper (the cat) & Tuki (the bird) her pet Grandkids.

She was a wonderful lady with a beautiful smile and laugh, and she will be forever in our hearts.

I will always remember Rosalie coming to the races with us all . having this big grin and smile on her face when she  would surprise us with a big picnic basket with fried chicken  and potato salad .  We enjoyed having those times with her .So lots of love to you all

Dear Rose,
To the best mother-in -law a guy could have, you were always a joy to be around. From taking you to Mariners games and to T Birds games we loved spending that time with you. 
I remember a time when Sherry and I went on vacation and you watched our house as well as taking care of your billet grandsons Brenden and Colin, they didn’t come down for dinner when you called them so when they did come down you put them in time out on the tiny little time out bench. Two big hockey players on this small little bench, this makes me laugh every time I think about it.
Then you and Jason, you came into his life and became instant partners in crime and gave him another grandma in his life. Thank you for that.
You will be missed, but never forgotten, love you!

As a kid my brother and I would see her from time to time she would stop in and say hi. Just before she was about to leave she left us thinking...when are you coming back?  We just missed her. She was a very calm and magnetic personality. Rose you will be missed very much. We love you.

What an incredible blessing Rosalie was to so many! She had a beautiful sparkle and spunk to her that lives on in the legacy she left through our sweet friend, her precious daughter, Sherry.  Her sense of humor and playful spirit live on through all who knew her!  I believe Rosalie is smiling down from Heaven with a twinkle in her eye and rejoicing that her little body hurts no more. She will still be watching the games and rooting for her favorite teams, but now she has the best seats in the house! Rosalie was a beautiful little lady whose passing leaves a big hole in many hearts.  Many prayers for her family and loved ones as they move forward on Earth until they are together again.  

My wonderful memory of aunt Rose was that she had great style. Every place she lived she made it look so adorable, she would totally paint the inside and out and decorate so nice. Her yard always look so nice with her flowers. I do believe that is the one thing Sherry has from her mom her wonderful since of style. My other memory is she took the time to talk with me on personal level, that meant a lot to me and I will always remember. Rose was a very caring person she would always take care of all the resting places of her family making sure that they looked nice and had flowers,her choice of flowers were roses, this also was shared with Sherry (they would do together). Sherry I do want you to know that your mom was so proud of you and loved you. Am so glad that you were able to join us at Christmas. You even sat on Santa’s lap. Will miss your smile,but I do know that you are in a beautiful place with your family. Love you always ❤️

She was an awesome hockey grandma to Brenden. Will never forget her time out bench. It was so nice to see her up in Vancouver at Brenden’s game. She will be fondly remembered

Rose has such a vibrant personality with a kindness that has resonated in my memory for 30 plus years. Even though I only met her once during  my childhood I will never forget.

We will always cherish the beautiful memories of Aunt Rose. Mine are younger years the conversations with her as you were the selected one chosen one. Funny how you sit and took it all in with the thought of why me this time but in the same thought wow she’s interesting and loving every minute . Big hair and lots of jewelry and dressed so great she had some great clothes and so tiny so don’t cross me . She was a great Aunt you will be missed love you Rose🌹  Your Niece Diane

When I lived in Puyallup with Sherry and my dad Rose offered to make me a dress for a school dance. I remember it was green and turned out amazing she was the best.
