

She was born April 6, 1935 in Morton, Washington.
Shirley lived in many states, but finally came home to stay at the family house in Mossyrock in 1982. You may recognize her photo from her years of service at Smith and Sons Grocery in Mossyrock.
Shirley was well known and loved by many and enjoyed her time with family and friends. She was one of the best storytellers of all time and always had a joke or story to make you laugh. Shirley loved bingo and was known at all bingo halls near and far. She also enjoyed her weekly card games with her friends, enjoying a good potluck on Fridays. She also was an avid reader.
Shirley is survived by niece,s Diana (Myers) Murdoch of Ocean Park andLeslie (Darrin) Myers of Chehalis; great-nephew, Jason Buchanon of Mossyrock; great-niece, Karleigh(Roberts) Ortiz of Centralia; and best friends (and neighbors), Darin and Caryn Johnson of Mossyrock.
Shirley made the world a better place and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life has been planned for July 23, 2022 at the Mossyrock Community Center between 12-3. Because Shirley loved a good potluck, please bring your favorite dish and let’s reminisce about all the joy she brought to our lives.
