Agnes was born on April 30, 1930 in Mecklenburg County to the late Nellie Jane Messer and William Henry Eller. She married Bobby Eugene Knight, Sr. on July 4, 1953.
She attended Southeastern Beauty College and owned and operated her beauty shop, "Agnes Knight's Beauty & Alterations" for many years.
Her family fondly remembers Agnes as Faithful, Ambitious and a Firecracker.
Agnes was predeceased by her husband, Bobby Knight, Sr., and sons, Kenneth Knight Sr. and Bobby G. Knight Jr..
She is survived her grandchildren; Kasie Fortune, Bobby Knight III, Kristin Knight and Kenneth Knight, Jr., eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
