Mr. Bradley was a U.S. Air Force, Korean War veteran. He retired from the trucking industry, where he worked with Johnson Motor Lines, New Dixie Trucking and Guignard Freight Lines. Mr. Bradley was a member of Phalanx Masonic Lodge #31 and Oasis Shrine Temple, and was an Oasis Greeter and President of SASA in 2011. He was also a member of Moose Lodge #1113, the Legion of Moose, Honorary Lifetime Member of Kazim Shrine Temple in Roanoke, VA, the Mecklenburg Shrine Club and the American Legion.
Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Nellie Wilcox, a son, Alan Lee Bradley and a sister, Dottie Wales.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Anne; sons, Keith Bradley, Mark Bradley and Lori Pesce, and Brian Bradley; daughter, Dawn Gryder; brother, Roger Wilcox and wife, Mary, of Haines City, FL; sister, Mae Palmer of Earlville, NY; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 27, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
