Alma Jean Miller, 52, of Charlotte, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 26, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 22, 1961 to the late John Edward Miller, Sr. and Eula Mae Covington and was affectionately known as "Alma Jean". She graduated from North Mecklenburg High School and worked for Presbyterian Hospital in Environmental Services. Alma had a passion for singing, dancing and spending time with her family and close friends, she loved life.
She is survived by her children, Takisha Miller, Tresiah Miller-White and Jared Miller-White; grandchildren, Sario Hargrett, Jatai Miller and Achia Miller; sisters, Patricia Ann McCollough and Amanda Barnhardt; and her brother, John Edward Miller, Jr.
A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. A service to celebrate Alma's life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m.
