Ann was born in Providence, Rhode Island on August 23, 1930 and moved to North Carolina in 1968. She worked at Dillard’s until retirement, after which she spent many of her days on the road with her husband, a truck driver for Baucom’s Nursery.
She could always be found with a steaming cup of coffee and plenty of news to share in her thick Rhode Island accent. There was nothing she enjoyed more than sitting outside and spending time with her ever-growing family and her sweet neighbors, Owen and Hazel Dildy.
She was preceded in death by her best friend and husband of 54 years, Robert “Bob” “Papa” Fagan. She is survived by her six children—the "six-pack": Bobby and wife Alice, Ray and wife Trena, Gregory, Laurie and fiancé Mike, Dawne and husband Eric, and Kim and husband Pat. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Ann's love and laughter made an impact on countless lives. She will be dearly missed.
