

Anna was born in Jamaica, New York, on August 23, 1928, to the late Arthur and Helen Bock. She graduated from Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School in Brooklyn, New York, in 1946. Shortly after, married her husband, William Patti, on September 10, 1949.
Anna and William had four children, Cathy, William Jr., Gary and Brian. She loved being a mother and was active in her children's lives. She was overjoyed when she became a grandmother to eight grandchildren and great grandmother to eleven great grandchildren. Anna was always family oriented and welcomed any opportunity to spend time and create memories with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. While she was living in Virginia Beach, she always planned family beach trips for her family each summer.
Anna was very gifted at needle work and enjoyed to knit and crochet. She loved to travel with her friends and church family. She had the opportunity to travel locally and internationally. Anna was an active member at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church while she lived in Virginia Beach and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. When she moved to Mint Hill, North Carolina, she joined St. Luke Catholic Church and continued to be active in their church community. Those who knew and loved Anna will miss her fun and caring spirit.
In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband, William Patti; and brothers, Arthur and Gerrard Bock.
She is survived by her children, William (Mary) Patti, Gary (Karen) Patti, and Brian (Lori) Patti and Cathy (Brad) Bowen; her 8 grandchildren, Elyse McDonald, Allison (Nelson) Oliveira, Kerri (Rich) Trepiccione, Kevin (Janet) Patti, Graig (Teresa) Patti, Matthew Bowen, Brittany Bowen and Brandon Bowen; and 10 great grandchildren, Billy McDonald, Addison McDonald, Emma Oliveira, Ethan Oliveira, James Trepiccione, Hailey Trepiccione, Natalie Trepiccione, Madison Patti, Austin Patti, Joana Patti and Gavin Patti.
A visitation for Anna will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 1:00pm at St. Luke Catholic Church, 9800 Fairview Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227.
