Barbara Solomon Patteson

She was a loving mother and a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and her church. Mrs. Patteson was involved with the GA's in Greenville, SC and at Cornerstone Baptist. She was the Outreach Leader for the Faith Sunday School Class and helped with the nursery and Vacation Bible School.

Barbara enjoyed reading and visiting with family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her son, Larry Patteson and wife Sarla; daughter, Pam Patteson; grandchildren, Shannon James, Kevin James, and Lisa David and husband James; and sister, Dotty Sumpter.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Patteson; daughter, Brenda James and brother, Bobby Solomon.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Charlotte with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park.

Mrs. Patteson requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be sent to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 8947 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC 28227.
