Betty Preslar Griffin

She was born on May 25, 1938 in Charlotte, NC to the late Marvin Preslar and Janell Bishop.

Betty loved the Lord, her spiritual family, Jesus Christ Full Gospel Church, and biological family.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by her son, David Griffin (Jayna Gibson); daughter, Sharon Lipa (Steve); grandchildren, Crystal Griffin, Nicholas Griffin (Katie) and Ryan Lipa; great grandchild, Colton Griffin; and her sister, Judy McCartney (Jerry).

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 40 plus years, Lathan Lee Griffin; sisters, Ruth Munson, Sheila Adams, Virginia Bissell, and Peggy Hart and brother, Harold Canup.

A visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 9:00pm on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, January 12, 2018 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel with a visitation held one hour prior to the service.

Burial to follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
