Beverly Orren Glenn

Born on May 19, 1947, Beverly was a graduate of Sun Valley High School in Monroe, North Carolina. She was a woman of deep devotion—selfless, supportive, loving, accepting, and dedicated to those she held dear.

Beverly was a faithful member of Newell Presbyterian Church and found joy and fellowship as part of the West Chester Roadrunners Camping Club. She delighted in life’s simple pleasures: working on puzzles and word finds, playing computer solitaire, camping trips, family dinners, and enjoying her favorite meals from Ron’s Pitt Barbecue.

Her life was a testament to love and service. Beverly cared for her parents and her beloved husband, Walter W. Glenn, Jr., through sickness and in health. Walter preceded her in death, as did her grandparents, Joseph and Ada Hunnicutt, and her parents, Walter B. and Verla Mae Orren.

She is survived by her loving children, Jeff (Jodi) Glenn and Lori (Chris) Marasco; her cherished grandchildren, Mike Glenn, Amber Bell, Tyler Cassen, Nick Marasco, Cassidy Glenn, Corey Glenn, Jessica Schrepf, Chelsea Schrepf, Samantha Schrepf, and Amber Schrepf; and eight great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Beverly’s legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A graveside service for Beverly will be held Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Newell Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 1500 Rocky River Rd West, Charlotte, NC 28213.
