

He was born on October 9, 1933. Originally from Bevier, Missouri,
Billie earned his Airframe and Powerplant mechanic certification and later completed training as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Kirksville Area Technical Center.
During the Korean War, Billie honorably served his country as a Marine. Throughout his life, he enjoyed a wide range of interests and hobbies, including flying small private aircraft, beekeeping, and welding. He had a lifelong passion for mechanics and was a self-taught mechanic, small business entrepreneur, and was involved in logistics and contingency planning.
Billie was a devoted Christian and attended Marceline Seventh-day Adventist Church. He rests in hope of the resurrection at the Second Coming of Christ. Those who knew him will remember him as inquisitive and kind-hearted, with a deep commitment to his family, friends, and faith.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Tyree; second wife, Alyce K. Tyree; and siblings, Lelea Tyree, Leafy Tyree Hazel, Omar Floyd Tyree, Dodie Tyree Day, and Juanetta Tyree Damron.
He is survived by his children, Robert Tyree and his wife Stacey, Jennifer Tyree, Sue Lozier, and Andrew Tyree; grandchildren, Jake Tyree and Annie Graham; and great-grandchildren, Andrew Woolverton, Rianna Adams, Colin Woolverton, and Isabella Woolverton.
