I wish to add a memory of Boyce and his family on the 2nd anniversary of his going to his eternal home. Boyce always thought of others . This included our cadet days at West Point. I remember he routinely asked classmates to go home with him to Gastonia each Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break. I know I went with him at least one Thanksgiving. It was a fun and relaxing time. I felt privileged  and honored to be a guest in such a loving and caring home. Now I look forward, as a I know his current family does too, to some day being with him in his heavenly home. God bless Peggy and all the Morrow family.

We returned two weeks ago from our West Point Class of 1966's 55th Reunion in Richardson (by Dallas) TX. The names and photos of all deceased 137 classmates were read and displayed on a large screen. We and several other classmates recalled favorite memories of Boyce and agreed that he was a special friend to us and countless others. Peggy, you and all your family remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Boyce was always so upbeat and enthusiastic.  He was a very vital part of our Sunday School class - the Arthur Smith class at Calvary.
I am sure that he and Harold are having a wonderful time up there serving our God together.

Dear Peggy,
Susan and I just learned yesterday about Boyce's passing. We know it is a big loss and we extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to you and your family. We were looking forward already to receiving another Christmas season photo of Boyce, you, and your family. Several of your family photos from previous years are in our "close friends" files. We will continue to keep and cherish them. Boyce and I were close friends at West Point all four years. Boyce invited me to visit and stay with him and his family in Gastonia a few times. Each visit was special. We also served  in Korea at the same time in 1967. Boyce was our best man at our wedding in Chicago in 1970, and we were privileged latter to attend Boyce's and your wedding. Boyce was truly a best friend to many people. He naturally reached out and thought about others first. Always a gentleman, we know he loved God and family above all else. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you and your family.

B.C. and I were classmates at West Point and our families would often see each other.  I lost track of B.C. as we went our separate ways.  We had some great times together at school and he always made sure I was signed up for the National Guard flights home.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I just learned of B C’s passing tonight.  I have great memories of working with him and had tremendous respect for him.  I still remember your story about him teaching you how to load the dishwasher.  Sherry and I are very sorry for your loss.

I went to school with Boyce in Gastonia, starting with the first grade and continuing until high school graduation. We were not close friends but I always had a lot of respect for him. He was a very good student and a terrific athlete. After high school he went to West Point, earned a commission and served with the Army in Vietnam during the war. When his hitch was up I ran into him in  Gastonia and found him to be as grounded as ever. Years after that we were both living in Mint Hill and I encountered him several times. He was always friendly, personable and very likable.  Boyce was one of the very best. My condolences to his family.

I grew up in Gastonia with the Morrow family.  Boyce was several years ahead of me in school and his brother, David, and I were but one class apart. From an early age we were multi-sport athletes in all of the great programs in our community.  Boyce was one of the guys I greatly admired in my youth. David and I played on many teams together.  Boyce was a role model for us, younger guys,  who hoped to play sports at the high school level and American Legion baseball. I can still see their dad, BC, cheering at every game and often attending practices. Boyce was a coach’s player.....good fundamentals, willing  to be coached, a team leader and the smartest, yet most humble, guy on the team. It came as no surprise when he was accepted to West Point. This was not an every year thing in Gaston County in the early 1960’s.  I am sorry Boyce is no longer with us.  He was not just a “good guy” he was extraordinary.  Younger student-athletes like David and I were fortunate to have Boyce as a role model.  Royce Robinson, Gastonia NC

B was a super nice person and a gentleman. I was sorry to hear he had passed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. He will be missed.

Although we did not know Mr. Boyce long, he will leave a lasting impression on all of us at Redline Auto.  We always joked with him as being “his second option” especially after a visit to the dealer.  He was always full of infectious spirit and loved life.  As he would always tell me “Fix It!”  Thoughts and prayers go out to Peggy, Ritchie and the entire family.  

I know Boyce and Harold are probably having a great reunion.  We were blessed to be in Arthur Smith’s Sunday School class when we first joined Calvary Church, and enjoyed Boyce’s leadership in the class.  His sense of humor and caring and love for Peggy were so evident.  My prayers will continue to be with Peggy, as they have been all these years.

Mr. Morrow was one of the kindest persons  I have ever met. I always enjoyed seeing him when he brought his dog 🐾Charlie🐾 in to be groomed. He will be sorely missed. Prayers and love to the family. 

There was no one like B-pa! He always had a way of making you feel special! “I’m great because I got to see you!” I will miss running into him around Mint Hill but we hold on to years of special memories with him! We are praying for the whole family!

I first met Bpa when I taught Colby at Queens Grant.  He was a wonderful person and loved his family. My prayers for all of the family during this difficult journey.

SO SORRY TO HERE ABOUT BOYCE. SCOTT I KNOW YOU. AND JUST MEET YOUR MOM THIS YEAR ,THE GOOD TIMES WE HAVE IN THE SALON .WILL KEEP YOU  ALL IN MY PRAYERS IN THIS DIFFICULT TIME.

Tony and I are so very sorry for the loss of “B”. What a wonderful, kind and beautiful soul he is. I know I feel richly blessed that I was able to be graced with his friendship and conversations.
