Dolores Maynor

Dolores Maynor, 77, of Charlotte passed away February 19, 2012. A native of Charlotte, Dolores grew up in Oakhurst and graduated from East Mecklenburg HS. She worked for K.C. Starnes Body Shop for over 20 years. She was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. Dolores loved to fish, dance, loved all types of sports, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is predeceased by her parents; Robert and Johnnie Elder, husbands; Robert (Bud) Maynor and Jack Stallings, Sr. and sister; Michelle Elder.

Dolores is survived by her children; Marsha (Coby) Dabney, Lynn (Dennis) Starnes, Jack Stallings and Richard Stallings, grandkids; Wendy (Will) Sibley, David (Megan) Starnes, Lindsey Starnes, Lauren Stallings, Samantha Stallings, Victoria (Jonathan) Williams and Trey Stallings, Great grandkids; Brandy Sibley, Chelsea Sibley, Wyatt Sibley, Wayde Sibley, Liam Stallings and Adalee Williams, Sister; Roberta Moore and brother; Doug (Cathy)Elder and her beloved dachshund, Chipper.

The family would like to thank Dr. James Boyd, Dr. John Crawford and Dr. Carmen Dalto for the care they gave to Dolores.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 12:00pm at Clear Creek Baptist Church 9015 Ferguson Rd Charlotte, NC 28227. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery.
