Don was not only a true great friend, he was also like a father to me. He always introduced me as his son to anyone. We shard lots of laufhs and lots of serious conversations. He gave me good wise adivice on all aspects of life.  He was kind, intelligent, and a great friend.  You will missed by many!!!

Don hire me 3-79 for Security Pac when I was 21.
He was a friend and a business mentor for 45 years.
We worked many years for ICI and stayed in touch when I left the company in 1997.
We still spoke and he helped me with business contacts that helped grow my electronic security business.
My sympathy and condolences to Barb, Brad and Tara.
I'm here if you all do need anything now or in the future.

You will be missed by all. The Finest of the Finest.

Lots of memories of the old ICI and the times we had together. We both started with the Security Sytems Group at about the same time.  First memory I had when I heard the new was the two of us pool the coconuts in our laps.

My deepest sympathy to Barb and the family.

I met Don in 1981 when I joined ICI as a fellow Sales Rep. I had the good fortune of working closely with Don for almost 35 years. My most vivid memory of Don was his kindness. If there was a job to do, he always wanted to help. Many times he was under the hood of my personal car. In 2003 Don hung the curtains in my new home. He insisted. 

Barb, please know how much Mary T and I loved spending time with you guys. We always shared so many laughs. These treasured memories are what life is all about. The world is a wonderful place with you two being in it. Thank you for being our friends and my thoughts will be with you, and yours, for a long time to come. God bless you.

To Barb and the entire Dickinson family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all, through this time of grief. Don was a very special friend and co-worker to all of us and we will always cherish the memories of this perfect gentleman. May God bless his soul.

This was from dad's 50th birthday.  Mom had to pee so bad and Don wouldn't stop talking g long enough for her to go to the bathroom. So many great memories!

From mom's 70th birthday party. Don and Barb were always supportive of our family. 
One February my family and I walked into a restaurant to celebrate mom's birthday and there sat Don. He ended up joining us for the celebration.  It was so good to see him. He would tell me about times when he and dad would go out on sales calls for ICI. Those were special stories for me.

Uncle Don as he was known to all us, “now” old guys who worked with him. He’s best described as; respected by everyone, meticulous, fun, easy going, a well of knowledge, hard working supportive, encourager. Simply put, not a typical coworker… a true friend. 
Working with Don meant long, fun days (and nights) getting the job done, not just right, but perfect!
It’s a sad day for Dons family, his ICI/3SI family and anyone who knew him. My condolences to all.
I miss Uncle Don, when he retired and will for a long time..
