Donald was born on March 19, 1950, in El Paso, Texas, to the late Bruce and Gladys McCracken. After graduating from Conestoga High School in 1968, he attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a degree in biochemistry in 1973. In his career, he worked as a landscaper and a computer technician.
Donald will be remembered of his love of family. He welcomed any opportunity to spend time with his wife, Janet, daughter, Jennifer and other members of his extended family. He was very caring and generous with those he loved most. He also had a very good sense of humor and could bring a smile to anyone's face. In his spare time, Donald enjoyed woodworking and horticulture. Family and friends of Donald will miss him immensely.
In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his sister, Sandy Lombard. He is survived by his wife, Janet Irene McCracken; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Pace; grandchildren, Jensen Emery Pace and Chandler Jacob Pace; brother, Richard McCracken; sister in law, Yvonne McCracken; and nieces, Carrie Davey, Erin Matthews, Lexie Lombard.
