Born on January 20, 1929, in Kannapolis, North Carolina, Dot was the daughter of the late M.T. Todd and Gertrude Myers. She spent her life in the community she loved and was known for her quiet faith, steadfast determination, and caring heart.
For many years, Dot faithfully served as the Administrative Assistant at Prosperity Presbyterian Church. She considered her work a ministry and took great pride in serving her church family with dedication, kindness, and excellence.
Dot was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Joseph "Joe" Snyder.
She is lovingly remembered by her nieces, Toni L. Schmidt (Danny) and Jill Wiggins (Joe); her nephew, Deon "Skip" Tadlock, M.D.; her beloved four-legged companion, Tula; and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by her friendship and unwavering spirit.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 10:00am with Rev. Steve Stout officiating at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina, P.O. Box 127, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
