Dwight passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015. He was 22 years old.

Born March 23, 1992 in Rockville Center, Long Island, New York, he was a son of Dwight and Carol Williams.

He was a graduate from Piedmont High School, a past student of Long Island Lutheran High School and University of Maryland College Park.

DJ was a member of Hempstead Assembly of God Church in Hempstead, New York and ChristLife Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He is survived by his parents, Dwight and Carol Williams; brother, Craig Thompson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 16th of February, at ChristLife Church, 8617 S. Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28277, with visitation held one hour prior to the service.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held in New York at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 14th of March, at Hempstead Assembly of God, 656 Front Street, Hempstead, NY 11550.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Novant Health Blume Pediatric Hematology & Oncology, 301 Hawthorne Lane, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28204.
