Edward Sanderfer, 72, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018. A military memorial will be held on Saturday May, l2, at 1;00 at Haddock Baptist Church and cemetery. Reception follows. Eddie was born in Columbus, Mississippi to the late John William Sanderfer, Sr. and Virginia Stickland Sanderfer. Eddie Earl, known by his classmates, graduated from Jones County H.S. in Gray, Georgia in 1963. From there he joined the U.S. Air Force. He was a graduate of American University of Washington, D.C. Retired from the U.S. Secret Service after 25 years. The joy and passion in his life was his family and playing golf. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth D. Sanderfer; daughters, E. Tara King and Kasie D. Trivett. He is survived by one son, E. Judd Sanderfer, US Army Delta Force, Retired. Other survivors are his two sisters, Ida Jean Greene and Patricia Reinoso, seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “horsenaroundtrc”, a therapy program for special need children. Arrangements by Bridges Funeral Home of Gray, Ga.
