Edwin Clyde Williams Jr.

He was the son of the late Grace A. Dennis and Edwin Clyde Williams Sr.

He is survived by his wife Margie Demetris Williams, 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by an infant son and a great granddaughter.

He was a well-known insurance auditor, consultant, inspector and trainer in North and South Carolina for 35 years. He retired from Michigan Mutual Amerisure Company. He was a member of the NC Auditors Association and served a year as President. He was a very active Mason in the Friendship Lodge for many years. After Tech High School, he graduated from Kings Business College and went on to serve in the United States Marines as a Staff Sergeant.

He enjoyed his workshop, woodcrafts, making crosses from church bulletins, eating breakfast with his friends and many other activities including bowling and walking.

A private service for the immediate family only will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Mount Harmony Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Buddy Pigg officiating.
