Elizabeth was born June 16, 1953 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. She received her bachelor’s degree from Belmont Abbey College, where she graduated magna cum laude. She later received her master’s degree in psychology from UNC-Charlotte. Elizabeth worked with Carolina’s Health Care as a clinical psychologist. She had a passion for horses, Golden Retrievers and painting.
She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Hunter and Ryan Hunter; her mother, Dorothy Goode; her brother, Alan Hodge; and her half-brother and sister, Walter Hodge and Sherry Hodge.
Services are private.
