
Born on January 29, 1942, in Santa Fe, Argentina, Elsa lived a life of joy, generosity, and an unwavering love for her family and community.
She was a member of Graceway Baptist Church and most recently Bible Baptist Church, Elsa found deep purpose in her faith and her church community. Whether she was tending to her garden, shopping, or lending a helping hand out of love for all, she brought warmth and energy to every moment.
Elsa will be remembered most for her outgoing nature, her sharp and witty humor, and the boundless love she poured into her family. Her presence filled rooms, lifted spirits, and made even ordinary days feel special.
She is predeceased by her parents, Pedro and Maria Lisak, and her siblings, Horacio, Esteban, and Mirtha.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Adam Jurpik, her beloved daughter, Mirta and her husband, Doug, and her cherished grandchildren, Adam and Bogdan. She is also survived by seven brothers and their dear children—her many nieces and nephews—each of whom held a special place in her heart.
In honor of Elsa’s lifelong generosity, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Special Olympics or the Down Syndrome Association in lieu of flowers. Through these gifts, her legacy of compassion and kindness will continue to shine.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7, 2025 from 10:30am – 11:00am at McEwen Funeral Service Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd. Mint Hill, NC 28227. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the chapel. Elsa will then be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill, NC.
