Dear Ricky, today is 13 years since you’ve passed. I still look at this site & read all of the messages written over the years. Sweet memories your friends & family had of you. 
You touched all of our lives for the better.
I get choked up reading the posts from Mommy. She loved you so.  She was never the same after you passed away. She was a believer in Christ & knew she would see you again in Heaven.

... a mutual friend, that i had know idea you know told me... a long while after you where gone. it had been so long since we spoke..
    even longer since the message. i had nothing to say... i was so sad...

you see, i remember the day you moved in above me, in havenwood apartments. we rolled around and jumped on the barefloors...im sure we were fussed at.. christie.. remember her? she lived next door to u, diagonal from me. yall were my best friends.  im sure our parents fought alot...  3 kids (how old were we? i dont remember now...preteens even?) cant get along everyday. i know we were banned from being friends, all 3 of us, moms tired of our bickering at least 1x.  i always loved you and your mom...i had never seen or heard of a pomegranate till your family showed me. still havent much since, and i like them...

i saw you when we were older, long after you had moved to a nice house with a nice neighborhood with ur mom, dad, and cocoa..you had a new pet rat, you showed me around your new world...we had fun but still we argued.  we didnt agree on the others life choices anymore... but thats ok. i wish i had kept arguing with you instead of letting silence or distance come between us... it wasnt the argument that distinced us..  just life. i had mine and u had yours and ... damn being a teenager is full of .... everything.  

you grew to be handsome,  i see that looking at your face here. i bet you would be even more so now. tell cocoa i said hello.  i love you, thank you for the time you spent passing thru my story.

Dear Uncle Ricky, I remember the time we were playing lacrosse on the front lawn of your house. I threw the ball too far and it unknowingly hit a wasp nest. A few minutes later the wasps started swarming so we all ran inside. You decided to take a lacrosse stick & a container of wasp spray & go kill the wasp nest. You got rid of the entire nest without ever getting stung.This is just one of the great memories I have of you. I love you & I will always keep you in my memories. Love, Peter

I can still hardly believe that you are no longer with us. It really does feel like you are still just a phone call away. You are dearly missed, and I think about you all the time. I had so much fun growing up with you, and luckily I'll have those memories forever.

I wish I knew what to say to lighten your agony but sometimes words are just not enough. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry that this happened to you and your family.  I do believe that you are with Jesus and that everyone in your family will be reunited one day.  Your Mom loves you and misses you every day.
