Mrs. Crooke, age 90, of Charlotte, died October 2, 2017, at Clear Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born March 4, 1927 in Gainesville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Reed and Cleo Roper Reed. Mrs. Crooke retired from Parks-Cramer Company in Charlotte, NC. She was a member of Arlington Baptist Church.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, October 6, 2017, at Arlington Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Whittier officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Friday at the church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Daniela Crooke; two grandsons, Dustin Crooke and Kevin Crooke, all of Catlett, VA.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crooke is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayne Crooke; a son, Dennis Crooke and one sister.
