Esther Luisa Gonzalez, 89, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Born June 21, 1924, in Matanzas, Cuba, she was the daughter of Ricardo and Esdras Molina.
A memorial mass to celebrate the life of Esther will be held at a later date.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Gonzalez, and her brother, Ricardo Molina.
She is survived by her daughters, Maria Esther Henderson and husband, Richard, of Indian Trail, and Maria Cristina Church and husband, Ed, of Indian Trail; son, George Gonzalez of Calgary, Canada; three grandchildren, Tyler Henderson of Indian Trail, Allison Cazire and husband, Ryan, of Plano, Texas, and Elizabeth Church of Indian Trail; and great grandson, Miles Cazire of Plano, Texas. She is also survived by sister, Marta Rodriguez of Carrollton, Texas.
