Gail Fisher Harrell went to be with the Lord Sunday afternoon, December 9, 2018. She was 87 years old.

A native of Asheville, North Carolina, Gail was married to the late Joseph Harrell for 65 years. She was a faithful wife and devoted mother of three.

She is survived by her children, Dan, Cindy and Doug; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until 11:30 am Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Latin American Campus, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 11:30 am. The Reverend John Harrill will officiate. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 7200 E. W.T. Harris Boulevard, Charlotte, North Carolina 28215 or Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region-Main, Post Office Box 470408, Charlotte, North Carolina 28247.

Arrangements under the direction of McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, Mint Hill, North Carolina.
