Garnell Bollinger

Garnell Bollinger, 89, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away on July 23, 2026. Born on November 18, 1936, in Granite Falls, North Carolina, she carried with her a steady devotion and an open-hearted spirit that welcomed life’s roads with quiet courage and curiosity.

Garnell graduated from Granite Falls High School, and throughout her life she remained grounded in enduring values while still embracing the joy of discovery. Her faith was a guiding presence—constant, sustaining, and evident in the way she met each season with grace.

Music and simple pleasures brought her comfort and delight. She loved Elvis and Alan Jackson, and she found happiness in reading, working crossword puzzles, and traveling. She traveled often with her family, and those journeys reflected the same bright willingness to explore that shaped her life.

Visitation will be held at Mt Lebanon Baptist Church, 6335 Wilson Grove Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227, on July 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at the same location on July 30, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227. The Committal will immediately follow the service.
