Mrs. Gwyn, age 65, of Charlotte, died Friday, February 9, 2018 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. Born February 4, 1953 in Marshville, she was a daughter of Patsy Mullis Rowell Batchelor and the late Ray Gene Rowell. A homemaker, she was a dedicated wife and loving mother.
Memorial service to celebrate the life of Gwendolyn Rowell Gwyn will be held 3:00 PM Monday, February 12th at Arlington Baptist Church, 9801 Arlington Church Road, Mint Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Phil; son, Ryan; and sisters, Debbie Dycus (Bruce) and Treasa Huitt (Doug). In addition to her father, Mrs. Gwyn was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert Drayton Batchelor.
