Harold "Hal" Lee Fiest

He was married September 2, 1944 to Mary Louise Lanahan Fiest who passed away Jan 3, 1985 and later married Claudia Thomas Byrd Fiest on February 28, 1987.

Harold graduated from Farmington Schools in 1942. He worked for Morgan Lumber in Champion, OH for over thirty years then retired from the Champion School District in Warren, OH in 1985. Hal loved music, to work with anything wood and enjoyed planting flowers in his garden.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Jones; brothers, Dale, Fred, Norm and Frank all of the Warren area.

Hal is survived by his wife, Claudia Fiest; children, Cheryl (Don) Jones, of Warren, OH and Jackie (Paul) Yocum, of Canton, OH; stepchildren, Cindy Byrd Douglas of Slidell, LA, Dave (Marilu) Byrd of Charlotte, NC and Marsha (Steven) Fontenot of Gretna, LA; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; 7 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Chalker of Southington, OH; brother, Bill Fiest, Cortland, OH and sisters-in-law, Midge Fiest, Vienna and Darlene Fiest of Bristolville, Ony Fiest of Southington, OH.

The family will have a private service.
