Henry Robin of Charlotte, NC crossed over to bask in the perpetual light of our Holy Father on December 18, 2018 at the age of 83. He was born May 27,1935 to the late William and Anna Robin of Poughquag, NY.
Henry was a 36 year retiree of IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY. He began his career in 1953 as an apprentice tool maker and retired as a senior associate engineer in metalized ceramic chip replacement.
In 1959 he married the love of his life Kathleen Chase. Together they shared 59 happy years of marriage. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael of Sandyston, NJ, Mark of Shohola, PA, Marcella of Portland, OR, Melissa of NH and Mary of Matthews, NC. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as a brother, William James Robin of Poughquag, NY, a niece Julie Rappa and two nephews David and Dale Robin.
Hank never met a stranger. To the many friends he made over the years, he leaves his love of life, his appreciation of their friendships and a word of advice, “never take life too seriously.”
